OPEN POSITIONS: Site Manager job listing for PRIME London office
We are looking for skilled, experienced Site Managers to join our team. You will take full ownership and responsibility for your site in Central London, and will work with the Project Manager to deliver the project to cost, to budget, and of course to the highest possible quality. You will be given a lot of independence and will be expected to show initiative and strong management skills.
Your roles will include:
– Managing all sub-contractors and ensuring their work is carried out safely and correctly
– Attend all site meetings with project management and the design team
– Identify and purchase all relevant materials or specialist sub-contractors for direct works
– Oversee all Health & Safety on site
– Make sure all site regulations are met and liaise with building control
Liaise with the Project Manager to:
– Discuss any outstanding issue for information required
– Coordinate and plan the Programme of Works
– Assess any contract variations and valuations
The ideal candidate will have:
– 3+ years as Site Manager working on contracts in the region of £1 – £2m
– Good technical knowledge of all relevant trades – specifically demolitions & structure, mechanical & electrical, all finishing SMSTS or MAPS
– A fluent level of English
– Good computer skills
– Italian language a bonus but not a requirement

OPEN POSITIONS: Quantity Surveyor
The Quantity Surveyor for London will report to the CEO and will be active in all areas of quantity surveying/estimating from pre-contract through to post contract services and assisting with preparation of final accounts and claims.
The Roles and responsibilities include:
– Manage and deliver project tender process, including pre and post tender negotiations
– Manage and deliver project feasibility study and Bill of Quantities (against Scope of Works)
– Manage, produce and amend JCT contracts
– Manage cost and payments/cashflow process across all projects
– Produce and justify project variations and monthly valuations
– Collaborate and liaise with internal Project Managers, Finance and Marketing/Sales
– Collaborate and build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
– Collaborate and build relationships with external client QS
– Create and maintain sub-contract data base
– Create and maintain material suppliers database
– Take off quantities
– Prepare and issue sub-contract enquiries and assessment of quotations upon receipt
– Prepare and issue material supply enquiries and assessment of quotations upon receipt
– Pricing of Excavations, Concrete, Brickwork, Woodwork, Roof tiling, External,Render, Drainage, External works and minor landscaping (all other trades are normally subcontracted)
– Complete tender documents for submission
– Prepare specifications and / or Contractors proposals
– Submit tenders and follow up
– Build and manage extension of time requests
– Post tender negotiations
– Maintain contract documentation and advise on pre tender and post contract matters
– Preparation and issue of contractual letters to clients and / or sub-contractors
– Post contract liaison with clients
– Post contract liaison with design team
– Carry out take offs for material procurement
– Sub-contract negotiation and letting
– Preparation and submission of interim valuations
– Site measurement
– Manage and value variations
– Agreement and certification of sub-contractors interim valuations and final accounts
– Preparation and submission of several works final account
– Agreement of final accounts
– Experience of working on Procore/Xero would be preferred
The Quantity Surveyor will be degree qualified in a related Construction discipline and be able to display a good level of expertise.
