The project involved the refurbishment and adaptation of Cedars School, a private educational institution located in Norwood and housed within an elegant Georgian building and its surrounding grounds.
The intervention focused on upgrading the existing structure to improve functionality and support contemporary educational requirements, while carefully respecting the architectural character and heritage of the building. The works were developed to enhance internal layouts, circulation, and usability, creating improved learning and working environments for both students and staff.
Particular attention was given to integrating modern requirements within the historic fabric of the building, ensuring a balanced and sensitive approach to refurbishment that preserved the identity of the site while delivering meaningful functional improvements
